Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
1 egg
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring or vanilla
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sift together flour and salt.
Add sugar to butter.
Beat 2 minutes.
Fold in oats and coconut.
Shape into balls.
Put on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or less.
