Real Italian Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
2 or 3 onions, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
6 to 8 lasagna noodles, cooked
8 oz. cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
10 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
10 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Brown the ground beef in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Add the onions, tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 30 minutes or longer, adding water gradually as needed. Layer the lasagna noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, Cheddar, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses 1/2 at a time in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Yields 8 servings.
