Banana Delight Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
1 1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter or oil
2/3 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into large bowl.
Add shortening, buttermilk and bananas.
Mix until dry ingredients are dampened, then beat at low speed for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and beat 1 minute longer.
Dredge nuts in flour and fold in by hand.
