Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can salmon
    1 egg
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    vegetable oil
    1/3 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Drain salmon.
    Set aside 2 tablespoons of the juice.
    Mix salmon, egg and onion until sticky.
    Stir in flour.
    Add baking powder to salmon juice (this is the important secret).
    Stir into salmon mixture.
    Form immediately into small patties and fry to golden brown in hot oil.
