Buffet Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans French-style green beans
    8 slices bacon
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    raw onion rings
Preparation
    Heat green beans
    in
    their liquid.
    Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crisp.
    Remove
    bacon from skillet and to the fat, add vinegar and
    sugar.
    Drain beans and arrange in casserole. Top with
    onion
    slices
    and
    crumbled\tbacon;\tpour
    vinegar mixture over beans and
    let
    stand\t3 to 4 hours.
    Warm before serving.
