Hamburger Simmer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger patties
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. rice
    water
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Brown hamburger patties.
    Drain fat.
    In a separate saucepan, boil 2 cups of water with salt.
    Stir in rice; bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
    Reduce heat to a simmer; cover rice for 20 minutes.
    Pour mushroom soup over hamburger patties with 1 can of water.
    Simmer until rice is done.
    Serve with or over rice.
