Berry Krunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. Rice Krispies
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. toasted coconut
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. melted butter
2 boxes frozen strawberries
2 qt. strawberry ice cream
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except berries and ice cream.
Put half of the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread evenly.
Press in slightly softened strawberry ice cream. Top with remainder of dry mixture. Store in freezer until ready to serve. Add thawed berries to top. Serves 15.
