Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 garlic
    30 to 36 medium cucumbers
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. water
    6 Tbsp. salt
    dill (fresh or canned)
    mustard seed
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. crystal or granulated alum
    1 tsp. pickling spices
    finish filling can with cold water
Preparation
    Let set 90 days.
    Heat lids.
    Open and wash through 2 or 3 waters.
    Slice round and cover with 2 cups sugar.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Let set overnight.
    Put in jars.
