Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp. yellow corn meal
5 eggs, well beaten
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 unbaked pie shell
raisins, pecans or coconut (optional)
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Blend in flour and corn meal.
Add eggs, beating well. Blend in milk and flavorings. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 250\u00b0 and increase temperature to 375\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
