Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag frozen mixed vegetables
    1 can tomatoes, crushed (with juice)
    1 fresh pot herb (remove hot pepper) or dehydrated pot herb to taste
    1 lb. stew beef
    3 or 4 medium potatoes, diced or cabbage, cut into small pieces
    5 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Cut meat into bite size pieces. Brown meat in a large soup pot in a small amount of water.
    After meat has browned, fill pot halfway with warm water.
    Add salt, pepper, bouillon and pot herb, then add vegetables and crushed tomatoes.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 to 3 hours.
    Serve with buttered roll or bread.
    Add macaroni, if desired.
