Caramel Crispy Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. crispy rice cereal
    1 (14 oz.) bag individually wrapped caramels
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/4 c. butter-flavor vegetable shortening
    2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with butter; set aside.
    Place cereal in a large bowl; set aside.
    Unwrap caramels and place them in a 1-quart glass dish.
    Add marshmallows, shortening and water, stirring after each minute.
    Microwave on High for 4 minutes, or until shapes are melted.
