Airways Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 tsp. lemon extract (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks till thick and fluffy.
    Beat in sugar gradually.
    Sift flour and salt together and add alternately with water.
    Add lemon rind.
    Beat egg whites till foamy, add baking powder and beat till they hold a peak.
    Fold into yolk mixture. Pour into ungreased angel food pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 - 60 minutes.
