Yams In Orange Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. yams
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 c. orange juice
1 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel
1 orange, thinly sliced
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
-
Peel yams and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices, discarding thin ends.
Overlapping the slices, arrange in rows in a shallow 3-quart casserole.
Set aside.
