Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 hard-boiled eggs
    1 3/4 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 small red hot pepper
    pinch of mace
Preparation
    Peel eggs and pack tightly into quarter jar.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes.
    Pour boiling hot mixture over the eggs and seal.
    Eggs will be ready in 4 to 5 days.
    Keep refrigerated.
