Ingredients

2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 c. whipping cream
4 eggs, beaten
6 sticks cinnamon, broken in thirds*
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine milk, eggs, sugar and cinnamon in large saucepan for 15 minutes; remove from heat.
Stir in cream and extract.
Chill for at least 3 hours.
Remove cinnamon sticks.
Freeze in ice cream freezer.
