Kolache - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 egg
3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add butter, sugar and salt to cooled milk. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add to milk mixture.
Add egg and flour until mixture is pliable.
Let rise until doubled.
Punch down.
Let rise again.
Punch down.
Form into small biscuits. Place on greased cookie sheet; let rise.
With fingers, form hole in center.
Fill with prunes or favorite filling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
