Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1 cube butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats.
    Let stand 20 minutes or until cooled.
    Cream butter, brown sugar and white sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
    Add the oatmeal mixture and cinnamon.
    Sift together soda and flour and add to mixture.
    Add raisins.
    Bake in 13 x 9-inch cake pan for 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
    Remove from oven; cool and add topping.
