Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    2 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Stir in bananas and lemon juice.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt, then add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake in deep loaf pan, about 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
