Half Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon or almond flavoring
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco together.
Add sugar.
Add eggs one at a time; add milk.
Sift together flour and baking powder; add to mixture.
Add vanilla and flavoring.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.
