Chicken Artichoke Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fryer, cut up
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. chicken broth
    3 Tbsp. sherry
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, cut into quarters
    12 to 15 canned artichoke hearts (not marinated)
Preparation
    Mix salt, pepper and paprika; put over chicken pieces.
    Brown chicken in 4 tablespoons of butter or margarine.
    Place in large casserole dish.
    Saute mushroom pieces in remaining 2 tablespoons butter or margarine for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle flour over and add chicken broth and sherry.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Arrange artichoke hearts between chicken pieces in casserole.
    Pour mushroom, sherry sauce over all.
    Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serve with rice and green salad.
