Seven-Layer Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced raw potatoes
    1 1/2 c. sliced raw carrots
    1 1/2 c. sliced celery
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. stewed tomatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Place potatoes in the bottom of a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Top with other vegetables and uncooked meat in order given, sprinkling each layer with a little of the salt and pepper. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Makes 6 servings.
