Ingredients

6 slices bacon
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. cornmeal
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. fresh/frozen corn kernels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Grease standard muffin tins.
Fry bacon until crisp; drain to towels and cool.
Reserve 1/4 cup bacon drippings.
Crumble cooled bacon strips and set aside.
