Copper Country Coffeecake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
1 egg, well beaten
2 Tbsp. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 tsp. salt
2 apples, sliced
granulated sugar
cinnamon
Preparation

Mix soda and milk.
Add egg, salt, sugar, butter and flour; beat hard.
Add baking powder and beat again.
Pour batter into pan.
Press peeled apple slices into batter.
Sprinkle with combination of granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Dot with butter. Chopped nuts are optional.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes (glass pan at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes).
Use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
