Pork Chop-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 loin center cut pork chops
2 Tbsp. Crisco
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 c. Minute rice
1 can sliced mushrooms (do not drain)
2 c. water
Preparation

Brown chops in Crisco.
Put rice in 9 x 13-inch dish.
Save one tablespoon soup mix and sprinkle remainder over rice.
Add mushrooms and water.
Place browned chops on top of rice mixture and sprinkle chops with remaining soup mixture.
Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to one hour, depending on thickness of chops.
Remove cover and bake 10 more minutes or until extra liquid is gone.
