Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag hash brown potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream
    1 stick butter, melted
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Mix potatoes and onion together.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Mix melted butter, soup and sour cream together.
    Add to potatoes. Put in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Place sliced Velveeta cheese over this.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
