Mock Eggs Benedict - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    6 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. flour
    1 lb. ham, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
    8 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
Preparation
    In saucepan, melt butter.
    Stir in flour. Add milk gradually. Cook until bubbly, plus 1 minute longer, stirring constantly. Add ham and cheese to sauce.
    Cook until heated through. Carefully blend in eggs, stirring gently.
    Season with salt and pepper. Serve over toast or fresh baked biscuits.
