Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh or frozen yellow squash
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    18 saltine crackers
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 stick margarine
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Boil squash; salt and pepper to taste.
    Drain and mash squash; add onion, margarine, 12 saltine crackers (crumbled), 1/2 of the cheese and sour cream.
    Pour into casserole dish.
    Crumble remaining saltines and sprinkle on top.
    Cover with the remaining cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
