Million Dollar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 lb. (4 sticks) butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan, set aside.
    In small glass measure, combine with milk, the almond and vanilla extracts; set aside.
    In a large bowl mix with electric mixer on high speed, cream butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, alternately add one fourth flour with one third milk mixture, then add butter mixture; place in prepared pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 40 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool cake on wire rack for 15 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Serve plain or sprinkled with confectioners sugar.
    Makes 20 servings.
