Ingredients

1/2 lb. dates
4 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
1/2 stick oleo
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Chop dates and nuts.
Cook sugar, milk and oleo until soft boil stage.
Add dates; cook until stiff.
Add nuts.
When slightly firm, spread on damp cloth and roll up.
Cut into small slices when cold.
