Asparagus Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Green Giant asparagus spears
    1 loaf thin sliced bread
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. mayo
    1 beaten egg
    1 stick melted butter
Preparation
    Cut crust from bread.
    Roll bread thin with rolling pin. Spread with mixture of cheese, mayo and egg.
    Place 1 stalk of asparagus at end of each slice of bread.
    Roll up and cut into 3 pieces.
    Dip each in melted butter.
    Freeze until ready to serve. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 until brown (around 15 minutes).
