Angel Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. vanilla ice cream
    1 (10 oz.) box frozen strawberries
    1 angel food cake, cut horizontally in 3 layers
    1 (8 oz.) carton nondairy whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water.
    Add ice cream and strawberries. Stir until ice cream melts.
    Chill until thickened, approximately 20 minutes.
    Spread strawberry mixture between layers of cake. Chill 4 hours.
    Before serving, frost with whipped topping.
