Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together with electric mixer, shortening, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
    Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
    Roll balls in 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, mixed.
    Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 350\u00b0 on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Remove to cool on cooling rack.
