Mile High Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. melted oleo
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1 qt. Cool Whip
Preparation

Combine flour, brown sugar, nuts and melted oleo.
Stir and spread on cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Stir several times.
Sprinkle 2/3 crumbs in a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
Save the rest for topping.
Combine and beat 20 minutes the strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, salt and egg whites.
Fold in Cool Whip. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Freeze.
Serve frozen.
Keep frozen.
