Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 unbeaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place all ingredients, except vanilla, in top of double boiler (not over heat).
    Beat 1 minute with electric mixer on medium speed.
    Place over boiling water and cook, beating constantly, for 7 minutes or until frosting holds stiff peaks.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla.
    Continue beating until spreading consistency.
