Apricot Salad With Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (12 oz.) can apricot nectar
    1 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot or peach flavor gelatin
    1 c. marshmallows
    2 large bananas, sliced
    topping (recipe follows)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice for topping.
    Combine apricot nectar and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Add gelatin; stir to dissolve.
    Stir in pineapple, marshmallows and bananas. Pour into shallow 2-quart dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Cover with topping.
