Triple Crown Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) can French fried onion rings, finely crushed
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 tsp. yellow mustard
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    4 slices American cheese, cut in half
Preparation
    Combine 1/3 cup crushed onion rings and brown sugar.
    Put 1 tablespoon mixture in each of 8 small, well-greased ovenproof custard cups.
    Top with 1/2 teaspoon mustard.
    Melt butter in small saucepan.
    Remove from heat and stir in flour to form a smooth paste.
    Add catsup; stir to blend.
    Combine hamburger, egg, catsup mixture and remaining crushed onions.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Press 1/3 cup meat into custard cup.
    Place 1/2 slice cheese on top of meat. Add more meat on top of cheese and seal edges.
    Place custard cups on cookie sheet.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, until done.
    Drain any accumulated grease.
    Run knife around edge of custard cup and invert onto platter.
    Make sure you scrape bottom of custard cup to get glaze out.
    Spread on meat loaf.
