Holiday Glazed Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter, melted (not margarine)
    1 c. white granulated sugar
    1 c. brown powdered sugar
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
Preparation
    Heat butter until melted; add other ingredients.
    Simmer until all sugar is melted.
    Pour over yams.
    Makes enough syrup for one 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Can be doubled.
    Pour small pecan pieces over syrup.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    (Can be prepared up to 2 days prior to baking.)
