Grandma Downes' Chocolate Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 lb. marshmallows
    1 c. whipping cream
    1 (8-inch) sponge cake, homemade or commercial
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, melt chocolate chips with milk and marshmallows.
    Chill well.
    Whip the cream and fold it into the chocolate mixture.
    Split cake into 2 layers.
    Spread filling between layers and over the top and sides.
    Refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares for serving.
