Ingredients

2 c. sliced beets
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Drain beets; save 1/3 cup liquid.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Add beet liquid, vinegar and butter.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
Add beets; heat through.
Serve hot.
