Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. milk
    2 c. fruit, drained
Preparation
    Melt butter in a dish.
    Put in drained fruit.
    Cover with 1 cup sugar, then cover with batter made of 3/4 cup sugar, flour and milk.
    Mix well and pour over fruit.
    (Makes a thin batter.)
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
