Granny'S Graham Cracker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. graham crackers, ground fine
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add yolks, one at a time, and beat well.
    Mix flour, baking powder and crackers (ground fine).
    Add it with milk to first mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake in 2 layers in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Put in custard filling with 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, lemon rind and juice of lemon.
    Frost with a butter frosting.
