Hamburger Foil Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium potatoes, peeled
8 small carrots, scraped
8 medium onions, out layer removed
2 to 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
salt and pepper
Preparation

Place peeled potatoes and carrots in kettle of cold water to hold.
Cut 8 pieces of aluminum foil 12 x 30 inches and fold each piece in half to measure 12 x 15 inches.
Divide beef into 8 equal parts and pat each one flat on each piece of foil.
Place one potato (sliced) on top of each hamburger patty.
Repeat with carrots and onions.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Seal each aluminum foil by rolling edges over each other.
Put on hot coals and turn every 5 minutes.
Cooking time is 15 to 20 minutes.
The contents of these packages are hot.
