Barbara Bush'S Apple Crisp With Orange Juice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced apples
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of salt
    1/3 c. butter
Preparation
    Mound apples in buttered pie plate (tin) and pour orange juice over them.
    In separate bowl, combine the sugar, flour, spices and salt.
    Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
    Serve warm with cream.
