24 Hour Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. pineapple syrup
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    3 c. pitted light cherries
    2 c. quartered marshmallows
    1 c. pineapple bits
    2 c. fresh orange sections
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Cook egg yolks, sugar, salt, vinegar, pineapple syrup and margarine in double boiler until thick.
    Cool.
    Fold in whipped cream, light cherries, marshmallows, pineapple and oranges.
    Chill 24 hours.
    Decorate top with orange sections and maraschino cherries.
    Serves 6 to 8.
