Chicken Fricassee And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. chicken, chopped
    1 c. Bisquick
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. parsley
    dumpling dough
Preparation
    Put Bisquick, salt, paprika, salt and pepper in a plastic bag and shake chicken to coat thoroughly.
    Melt shortening and butter in a large skillet; brown chicken on all sides.
    Remove chicken, drain fat, stir in soup and milk.
    Add chicken.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Twenty minutes before chicken should be done cooking, prepare dumpling mix.
    Add parsley flakes and poultry seasoning to dough before adding liquids.
    Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot chicken and cook uncovered 10 minutes.
    Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
