Special Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 to 4 lb. chicken, cut up
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. butter or oleo
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. celery flakes
1 Tbsp. sweet pepper flakes
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
dash of m.s.g.
4 oz. can mushroom soup
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 can water
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and black pepper.
Dip cut up chicken in this seasoned flour mixture.
Brown chicken pieces in butter or oleo.
Transfer to a baking dish.
To butter, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of remaining seasoned flour, minced onion, celery flakes, sweet pepper flakes, nutmeg, dash of m.s.g., mushroom soup, tomato sauce and water.
Simmer 5 minutes, then pour over chicken.
Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven until tender, about 1 hour.
Baste.
