Paul Horning Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat
    1 c. diced celery
    4 or 5 potatoes
    2 chopped onions
    1 small can peas
    1 medium can tomatoes
    1 slice bread, cubed
    4 Tbsp. tapioca
    3 tsp. sugar (optional)
    2 tsp. salt
    pepper and garlic
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in covered casserole; bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours until meat is tender. Or put in slow cooker.
