Cinnamon Ornaments - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. applesauce
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1/4 c. cinnamon (bulk at Sams)
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Combine applesauce and gelatin in small pan and let sit for 5 minutes.
    Heat until simmering.
    Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
    Stir and turn out onto plastic wrap. Knead until smooth.
    Cover with second sheet of plastic and roll 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut shapes. Make holes for hangers with straw and dry on wire rack overnight.
    Makes 20.
