Icebox Potato Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. soft shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. lukewarm mashed potatoes
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Measure the warm (not hot) water into mixing bowl.
    Add yeast and stir to dissolve.
    Stir in sugar, salt, shortening, eggs, flour and mashed potatoes, mixing well.
    Turn mixture onto floured board and knead until smooth and elastic.
    Place in greased bowl, greasing top of dough.
    Cover with damp cloth to store in refrigerator for use as needed.
