Coconut Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    2/3 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda and salt
Preparation
    In oven, toast oats and coconut until golden brown.
    Thoroughly cream margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and blend well.
    Stir in oats and coconut.
    Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cooking sheet.
    Flatten with tumbler dipped in sugar. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Makes 4 dozen.
